Do you want to know a secret?
Join this two hour, semi-private class and you will learn the essentials of fly fishing a mountain stream, including casting, equipment, knots, reading water, and finding fish. And maybe you will discover a secret about yourself as your casting, your breathing and the water’s flow all find the same rhythm. (Here’s a hint: there’s more to fishing than the catching.)
The Carson River in tranquil Hope Valley is the setting for your session with world-renowned local expert guide Judy Warren-Wickwire. Beaver ponds provide deep, calm water perfect for learning to cast. This laid-back class is short on space and long on personal attention. It is the perfect opportunity to try your hand at a new sport, with guidance from a patient professional and encouragement from your empathetic pals. Or, if you’re an experienced fly fisher, get expert advice on correcting errors, improving your technique and tips on local waters.
